These were the height of fashion in the late 80’s/early 90’s when carbon-fibre became widely available as spectacle frame material.

These early frames were all black then painted and lacquered to achieve the colour.

Newer frames want to show off the weave so you don’t see these anymore.

Exceptionally strong and light.

These are designed as reading spectacles so they have wide bridge to sit further down your nose than regular spectacles.

They will not work with distance or multifocal lenses.

Price includes standard plastic distance, reading or intermediate lenses.

All lens types available including thinner lenses and varifocals.

All spectacles are supplied with a case and microfibre cloth.
